Its 2025 and Im Baaaaackkkkkkkk
wassup its 2025 its bouta be a good year and im going to keep on writing in here mainly writing a blog is really really good for you and it keeps a lot of things in check all at once by doing these things
- providing psychological validation or something by providing all the benefiets of a journal in addition to the other positive elements
- populating your personal website(see why you need a personal website) and keeping it actually interesting + worth returning to / bookmarking
- helping you understand concepts by explaining them to imaginary readers of your blog
- getting out of tutorial hell in whatever you are trying to learn
on the last one (this post is a really poorly structured thought dump btw) getting out of tutorial hell is one of the best things you can do for your hobbies, however that does not make a reason to just watch youtube or instagram or snapchat or whatever thing. getting out of tutorial hell is a reason to actually do whatever thing - not just forget about it. I get this problem a lot i will think i know enough about a subject and then just continue watching youtube without actually doing anything. i will have stopped watching videos and reading articles about the hobbie/new subject but not stopped watching videos etc. following a tutorial has the same instant dopamine that any other carefully crafted social media does.
